CLAY W. HAMLIN, III

Clay Hamlin is President of the Hamlin Family Foundation and a co-founder and CEO of CITRS.Clay serves on the Board of Directors for Character.org in Washington, DC. He is a founder, former Vice Chairman and CEO of Corporate Office Properties Trust, a publicly traded real estate company. He is also a Managing Partner of The Shidler Group, a private commercial real estate company and CEO of LBCW, LP, his family investment entity. He is a CPA and was formerly an attorney at Pepper, Hamilton & Scheetz and Saul, Ewing. Clay also served as a Lieutenant J.G. on the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, USS Wasp, in the late 1960′s.

​Clay was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and attended the Nichols School. He received his undergraduate degree, earning the Class of 1915 Award for the Ideal Scholar/Athlete, and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a JD from Temple University. He is a member of the University of Pennsylvania Tennis Hall of Fame and is Vice Chairman of Penn’s Athletics Board of Overseers.
